Deacon David Rodriguez

I was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. I graduated from Whittier High School. Leticia and I were married on January 26, 1980. We have four children; Jennifer Nicole, Lauren Ashley, Natalie Taylor, and David Nicholas. We also have three grandchildren. I have worked for Southern California Gas Company since 1984. We moved from Whittier to Tehachapi in 1990 and then we moved to Bakersfield in 2002.

I was ordained a Permanent Deacon as part of the first class of the Fresno Diocese on January 11, 2003.

At Christ the King Parish I am involved in pre-marriage counseling, the Parish Council, Right to Life, the Knights of Columbus, our new youth group, and assisting Monsignor Frost with parish duties.

Recently, I have been assigned to Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church - the newest Catholic Parish in Bakersfield.
